Contact your representatives in Congress to press for passage of the Iran Democracy Act.

This legislation supports pro-democracy forces in Iran, in opposition to the theocratic and oppressive rule of the Iranian mullahs who are the kingpin of the terrorist infrastructure of the entire Middle East. Their downfall is not only a welcome change for the beleaguered Iranian people, but a necessary outcome in the ongoing war against terrorism.. The Iran Democracy Act would provide fifty million dollars in aid to Iranian opposition groups.

Here is what Senator Brownback has said about Iran Democracy Act. . . . the Iran Democracy Act aims to "support Iranians seeking to create a democratic, secular government which respects human rights, abandons state-sponsored terrorism and rejects the possession and use of weapons of mass-destruction." The bill authorizes funding for "pro-democracy broadcasting into Iran, and increases the advice and influence of Iranian- Americans in the U.S. Persian radio service, Radio Farda.

Please lend your voice to the Iranian people who courageously oppose the tyranny under which they have suffered for twenty-four years. In the American spirit of liberty and in the name of the Revolution that gave birth to the American nation, let us declare our solidarity with the Iranian people in their hour of need.
