The left-wing BBC has conducted an investigation exposing Yasser Arafat and his Palestinian Authority's funding for terrorists: The Palestinian Authority, headed by Yasser Arafat, is paying members of a Palestinian militant organisation which has been responsible for carrying out suicide attacks against Israeli soldiers and civilians, a BBC investigation has found. In a pathetic attempt at public relations damage control, A former minister in the government led by ex-Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen) says that the money is an attempt to wean the gunmen away from suicide bombings. He says the policy of paying the money was not instigated by Mr Arafat but has been carried out with his knowledge and agreement. C'mon, "wean" murderers from their main craft of murdering innocent civilians? Impossible. The BBC added Despite the payments, the al-Aqsa group has not declared a formal ceasefire and Mr Arafat has not asked the group to stop the suicide bombings, according to an al-Aqsa leader interviewed by the programme. How much evidence to people need to realize Arafat is the greatest terrorist of them all? Isn't it bad enough that Arafat rules by decree, orders summary executions of his own people, and steals UN, US, European aid money. Arafat's own al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade keeps killing innocent Israeli civilians with firebombs packed with nuts, bolts, nails, and screws. Arafat speaks of peace in English, while in Arabic he and his cronies advocate Israel’s destruction.[1] [1] Benjamin Netanyahu, “A Durable Peace: Israel and Its Place Among the Nations,” Warner Books, Inc., New York, N.Y., 2000. |
