Let the will of the American people speak to all the world, its allies, its enemies, but most especially to the peoples of Germany, Belgium, and France and their elected governments. Let it be known to the peoples of Germany, Belgium, and France that the United States of America, as a sovereign nation, has honored, supported, and nourished the national sovereignty of Germany, Belgium, and France. Let it be known that the American people have defended, fought, died for, and secured the national sovereignty of France and Belgium, and that they have fought and died to defeat a regime in Germany whose evil is now a standard bearer of all things most repulsive in human nature and conduct. Let it be known that, having defended the national sovereignty of France and Belgium and placed Germany on its rightful historical track, it is to be assumed morally, ethically, and legally requisite that the United States of America act as a sovereign nation to defend itself, its own interests, and its very people from invasion and attack by its enemies. Let it be known that America and its people will not be deterred from the righteous task of self-defense by those nations, or other entities, that collude with America’s enemies. Let it be known that America’s enemies are also the enemies of America’s allies, and that those allies who forget their former bonds with America and choose, instead, to support a regime hostile to the United States, such as that of Saddam Hussein, by now clearly one of the most evil in history and one singularly determined to attack the United States and its allies, have ceased, de facto, to be America’s allies. Let it be known that the elected governments of Germany, Belgium, and France seek, whether out of malice or because of egregious self-interest extending well beyond all boundary set by even the amoral dictates of Realpolitik, the continuation of Saddam Hussein’s regime and thereby increase the known and verifiable dangers his regime poses specifically to the United States and to the world in general. Let it be known that Saddam Hussein considers America his worst enemy; that it is a primary aim of his to seek to harm the people of the United States at home and abroad, and that his enmity and malevolent intentions are common knowledge among the leaders of Germany, Belgium, and France. Let it be known that the American people will not countenance the betrayal of the United States by Germany, Belgium, and France. Let it be known that not only the leaders of Germany, Belgium, and France but also the popular will of their citizens have turned against the people of a nation that has defended them against total destruction by the worst tyrannies during the most inhumane century in history. Let it be known that, as democracies, Germany, Belgium, and France cannot claim usurpation of the popular will; that, unlike the people of Iraq who have no way of expressing their will, the peoples of Germany, Belgium, and France have chosen, by abandoning elementary judgment in an hour of deep moral clarity, to turn against the very best principles and values, such as individual liberty and the constant fight against tyranny, that Europe has bestowed to the world and which have found their fullest expression in the United States of America. Let it be known that America and its people are the custodians of a civilization that Germany, Belgium, and France helped build through the centuries only to precipitate its total destruction through two catastrophic world conflicts were it not for the determination, sacrifice, and suffering of the American people and their allies. Let it be known that whatever sinister motives the peoples of Germany, Belgium, and France unwarrantedly attribute to America and its people, the United States never sought, nor exercised, territorial domination over those nations upon their liberation. Let it be known that the United States, upon liberating Germany, Belgium, and France, behaved contrary to historical example by not claiming those nations as its booty and territory but, instead, helped rebuild them as well as sustained and protected them during the hard and bitter years of the Cold War. Let it be known that without the United States of America, Germany, Belgium, and France would not have been liberated from the yoke of tyranny. Let it be known that without the United States of America, Germany would not have been reunited again as one nation. Let it be known that, although Americans are by nature and habit a forgiving people, their memories will grow long and hard in the face of the betrayal of the United States and its people by Germany, Belgium, and France. Let it be known that, until reason, honesty, fairness, loyalty, and rectitude once again characterize the peoples and governments of Germany, Belgium, and France, we ask Americans and their allies to boycott all products identifiably made in those countries and to cease visiting those countries as tourists. Let the American people voice their outrage to representatives in local, state, and federal governments so that a nation-wide boycott of products identifiably made in Germany, Belgium, and France be encouraged and sustained. Let this boycott against Germany, Belgium, and France spread, via the internet, to pressure those nations and their peoples to stop appeasing the dictatorship of Saddam Hussein and to stop attempting to thwart the sovereign will of the American people to defend themselves in the current international struggle against Islamist terrorism and its allies. Let us, the American people, prevail against our enemies and never allow any nation or entity to infringe, stymie or undermine our sovereign right to defend our homeland, its rightful interests, and, above all, the very citizens and other inhabitants who claim it as their home. |
